RNAとヴィンテージ2
2019年1月4日 Magic: The GatheringDeputy of Detention 1WU拘留の宝球/Detention Sphereは、ヴィンテージでもランドスティルやタイタンオースで起用された実績を持ち、忘却の輪系統の中では一番の出世頭といっていいだろう。とはいえ、ここ1年程はまともに使われていないこともまた実情である。

さて、こいつは拘留に1/3の胴体が生えたものだ。この手の卡は信頼性が重要なので、攻防に参加できる利点より脆弱化の方が上回ると考える。もうひとつ不運なことに、ドルイドの誓いで墓地に落として太陽のタイタンで回収する動きができなくなった。
Dovin, Grand Arbiter 1WU2点ー既存の青白デッキには逆説とジェスカイがある。どちらもドローを非常に重要視するデッキであり、[+1][-1]で手を進められないばかりか盤面への影響力も突出したものがないドビンを必要とするかは疑問である。そこで彼に適する職場としてMoat入りランドスティルを紹介したい。Moatによりドビンを守り、ドビンの[-1]でクロックを生産しつつストーム等の飛び道具から身を護る。そして[+1]で一気に忠誠度を高め、[-7]でMoatを守るカウンターやフィニッシャーを得る。完全な作戦だ。ドビンの目を持ってしてもひとかけらの欠点をも見出すことはできないだろう！

+1: Until end of turn, whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, put a loyalty counter on Dovin, Grand Arbiter.
-1: Create a 1/1 colorless Thopter artifact creature token with flying. You gain 1 life.
-7: Look at the top ten cards of your library. Put three of them into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Kaya, Orzhov Usurper[-1]でMoxを割れるのは事実だ。しかし、ヴィンテージが特別速い環境でないとは言え、それを許容するほど遅い環境でもない。[+1]は墓地対策としては誠に中途半端であり寒心に堪えない。

-1: Exile target nonland permanent with converted mana cost 1 or less
-5: Kaya, Orzhov Usurper deals damage to target player equal to the number of cards that player has in exile and you gain that much life.
